Description

The Baratza Virtuoso+ is a conical burr grinder built for the home coffee brewer who refuses to compromise on consistency. With 40mm steel burrs, a digital timer, and 40 stepped adjustment settings, this is the grinder that turns a good pour over into a great one — and makes it repeatable every single morning.

Baratza designed the Virtuoso+ for drip, pour over, French press, and cold brew. The conical burr set delivers uniform particle distribution across a wide range of grind sizes, which means better extraction and cleaner cups. The digital timer lets you program your dose down to the tenth of a second, so you're not eyeballing scoops or doing morning math. Dial it in once, and it's locked in for good.

Key Features

  • 40mm conical steel burrs — Built for years of daily grinding
  • Digital grind timer — Program your dose and hit a button. No scales, no guessing, no waste.
  • 40 stepped grind settings — From cold brew coarse to Aeropress fine, with clear clicks between each adjustment
  • Easy burr access — Remove the hopper and lift out the top burr for cleaning in under two minutes
  • 8 oz bean hopper — Enough capacity for a week of solo brewing or a weekend of guests
  • Grounds bin with lid — 5 oz capacity, fits directly under the grinder or can be removed for portioning

Ideal For

This grinder is for the home brewer who's moved past pre-ground coffee and wants consistency without complexity. If you make pour-over most mornings, French press on weekends, and the occasional batch of cold brew, the Virtuoso+ handles all of it without requiring a PhD in grind theory. It's also ideal for households where multiple people brew different ways — program a few timer presets, and everyone gets their preferred dose at the touch of a button.

Not ideal for espresso. The Virtuoso+ can technically grind fine enough, but it's not designed for the micro-adjustments espresso demands. If you're pulling shots, look at Baratza's Sette or Vario lines instead. For everything else — drip, pour over, French press, Aeropress, cold brew — this is the last grinder you'll need to buy.
